Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus was founded in 1972 as the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization focused on serving the Asian American community. Recognizing that social, economic, political, and racial inequalities continue to exist in the United States, Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus is committed to the pursuit of equality and justice for all sectors of our society with a specific focus directed toward addressing the needs of low-income, immigrant, and underserved communities. In California, with a special focus on the Bay Area, we bring together legal services, community empowerment, and policy advocacy to fight for immigrant justice, economic security, and a stronger democracy. As a founding member of the Asian Americans Advancing Justice affiliation, we also advance national policies and legal strategies on community-based solutions to racist hate and violence, the freedom to vote, and race-conscious college admission, and much more.
